Ok a few words….

Right after I snapped this picture of Porter on Sunday morning, I felt compelled to GET OFFLINE and UNPLUG. So I did.  I tucked my phone away in a kitchen drawer and there it stayed all day.

We had a relaxing, slow Sunday morning, church and then celebrated my Mamaw’s 80th (!!) birthday.  Naps in the afternoon, a walk with friends and bible study in the evening.  I was present and there.

And it was everything I wanted it to be.

More.  I need more of less.  Something to work on.

QUESTION:  Last time you unplugged??

  1. Bonnie says:

Great pics! What a beauty of Porter. :) Last time I unplugged? Well, most the summer! But that is forced (and welcome!) because we go where there is no service! I’m working on the evenings – shut it down after 8. I’m okay with it but my husband will keep working or pop on to send an email so then I browse Instagram when j should be off. We talked about it last night – tonight t begins! 8 pm, no screens. It’s a start!
