No time for shenanigans. Here’s everything we did this weekend (in no particular order):
…Ate lots of good food (some healthy, some not)!
(we stopped at SweetTreats in Highlands – haven’t been in YEARS and it was wonderful. It’s similar to froyo with toppings except they mix them in for you – like a Dairy Queen Blizzard. We all shared Cookies ‘N Cream, Cookie Dough & Peanut Butter Cup. YUM!)
…Worked out with friends.
(20 person turnout for this last MoveMore bootcamp. What a blessing!!!)
…Enjoyed being outside on Friday night.
…Hiked in the clouds on Saturday afternoon.
(Whiteside Mountain is a pretty easy 2-mile hike in Highlands, NC! It typically offers a great view at the top but on Saturday it was FOGGY. At 2pm! Fine for us as we’ve been several times but I felt sorry for newbies to the trail.)
(This was probably Clara’s last hike being carried. My back was KILLING me the rest of the day. She’s 40 pounds.)
…Tried a new protein bar (and loved it!).
…Paid $20 for a blow out & style (worth every red cent!).
…Celebrated a big day with some great friends.

…Spent Sunday morning reading and cuddling and family-ing.
…Took almost all of Sunday off from technology (hence the end of the pictures)
….and it was everything I had hoped it would be.
QUESTION: Favorite cereal?? <-hard choice…there are too many to pick from and cereal is my most favorite food. Today I’ll go with Honey Bunches of Oats. Favorite protein bar?? <- tie between this one and this one.
