{day 4 vlog challenge} singing “let it go” & my marriage

Day 4 of vlogging and I’m still chugging along.  I will say that as I’m going through this process of filming, saving, uploading and then putting together the actual post…it’s not as much of a timesaver as I had thought it would be.  But I’m still having fun.

Today I talk about two things…well, I talk about one and SING another!  This one’s for you, Brooke & Katie!  Winking smile

**Yes, the mailman AND the UPS man came while I was filming.  They’re here every day with a package of some sort (like Christmas!!!).

  1. You are so cute…love the vlogs! I never think I’m going to be into them (in general) but then I am. Interesting to hear about how others keep a healthy marriage. Feel like I need a women’s group to discuss this on the regular for tips and tricks…haha. I only wish you lived closer so we could hang out :)

  2. Totally agree with your keys to a good marriage (my husband and I have been together 8 years, married 2, and long-distance for 5.5 of our years together)! Communication couldn’t be more important and we’ve both figured out the little things we can do for each other that put a smile on our faces– for JP, it’s me getting up first thing and making coffee and letting him get up slowly while I pack his lunch (when I’m in town) and I love when he washes the dishes after dinner and let’s me read or just relax and chat with him. One other thing for use has been learning to be patient and flexible with one another and our schedules, with traveling back and forth, and with our work/grad school obligations.

  3. Two things: You have a B-E-A-Utiful voice and you have such nice teeth! Sorry, that may be weird to say, but you do! haha! Yes to carrying a tune… I love to sing, but I definitely sing low…I’m on the praise team at my church and the (male) worship leader and I have the same range. Ha!

Keys to a successful marriage? Definitely agree on the communication and sex thing… also, just not taking ourselves too seriously and being each others’ biggest cheerleaders. That’s huge!

Thanks for posting! Oh, and thanks for sharing about e-bates, I just signed up! How cool!
