Boy, oh boy – did we get some snow!! Maybe 8 inches or so? Who knows.
The day was a good mix of activity and rest – cuddling and lots of sledding. I managed to get the bump into my winter gear….but just barely. Good, comforting food and many cups of Throat Coat tea (I drink this tea regardless of whether I have a sore throat – love the taste). I was able to paint Henry and Porter’s closet in preparation for a mini-renovation that my BIL is doing this weekend. OH, and my MIL took the kids for FOUR hours during the afternoon – I slept and caught up on my bible reading.
A great, great day.
Now where’s Spring?
QUESTION: Did it snow where you live? What’s your favorite thing about snow days? <-the food. Sledding makes me feel super old.
splendid…lindsay
This looks picture perfect! Also your preggo belly seriously looks like you just have a basketball hiding under your sweatshirt. Which is a compliment. <3
Love the little outfits for baby Porter!
What a wonderful snow day! Can I borrow your kids and take them sledding? I always want to go sledding but feel like I’m probably too old to go without kiddos… ;)
We’ve had some nasty cold weather for weeks on end, but hadn’t had much snow fall…until this morning! It’s only supposed to be about 3-5in., which isn’t much for Duluth, MN, but it is looking pretty so I’m not going to complain!
I love that Porter is on the list of words to spell :)
Looks like perfection! So much love and family!
PS your zulily order = adorable!
Not too much, but we got so much snow from the past months..So READY for spring. Wisconsin always has too much snow haha Favorite thing about snow days..Homemade Hot Chocolate!
