The following is a product review for Koss headphones. The product was provided by Fitfluential and Koss. No compensation was given and all opinions expressed are my own!

I know. You see the word “review” in a post title and you run for the hills. Been there, done that.
But hold up.
I’ll make this one short and to the point.
A few weeks ago, I was sent two sets of Koss headphones to review. For free.
Here’s the “cut to the chase” part – After trying them out on a couple of runs, mowing the lawn and a flight to Utah, I would BUY THESE HEADPHONES WITH MY OWN MONEY. Behind the Lindsay’s List scenes, there are products sent to me that I wouldn’t say that about. Yes, I’m always thankful for the gesture and the free swag, but it’s not often that I consider spending my own money on a review product.
These headphones are that good. The company’s slogan – “Designed FOR women. BY women.” The earbuds are much smaller than any others that I’ve seen and each set comes with three cushion sizes that you can interchange depending on the size of your ear canal (mine are fairly small so I use the smallest set). If you have small ears, you know what I’m talking about when I say that sometimes my ears would ACHE with larger ear pieces – the free ones you get on airplanes are the worst! Not the case with the smaller Koss ear pieces!
While I received two pairs (the FitBuds and the FitClips), I really fell in love with the FitClips, which drape over your ear. I took them on a couple of 5-mile stroller runs and they didn’t budge an inch or fall out of my ear canals.
Something else I must share – Koss has excellent customer service! On the flight out to Salt Lake, someone hit the headphone jack with their leg while it was plugged into my iPhone and completely damaged the connector thingymabob (real word).
Major bummer. I tweeted about it and the reps at Koss were incredibly quick with the following response:
Nice! I love it when companies have your back! Thank you, Koss, for the headphones and for being genuinely nice!
QUESTION: Do you run with music? How often do you purchase things that you see on blog reviews?
The Koss FitBuds and FitClips retail for $29.99 and are worth every penny – go here to purchase your own! In fact, get $5 off at www.koss.com when you use the code: Fit4Life (that also gets free shipping)!
So cool!! I have got to find some good headphones, my ears have been achy recently I realized. :)
I am in desperate need of new headphones. My iphone ones WORK, but they fall out. I would love a pair that I can rely on!
Great review! I like to read them but I don’t always buy & usually Google myself to read other reviews. :) I am reviewing these too. I got a reprieve from the due date due to a prob with not all cushions in my fitclips so waiting for the right size on those…
I did my review today too…love good customer service and I love those pretty nails of yours. ;) Have a wonderful long weekend Lindsay! XOXO
I love running/moving to music! And yes, I need good headphones–plus I love all the colors!
i can’t believe how much i love the koss fitclips! usually those things hurt my ears but these are so soft, comfy, and light!
The coupon code expired two days ago :(
oh no!! let me check on it and I’ll get back to you!
Thanks! I talked to the online chat and they extended it :)
I almost always run with music and I have been on the lookout for some new ear buds because I have strange, small ear holes apparently and none fit that are less than $300. I actually just saw these reviewed on another blog and they also highly recommended them so I will have to check these out!
I love running with music. But sometimes in the reallyyyy early morning when it’s still dark I like to run without them. It’s the most peaceful time of the morning.
I always run with music (barring a dead ipod/phone or something like that). I still use the old school headphones, the kind that are circular and have fabric. I think I must have very small ear holes because all ear buds not only fall out but hurt the inside of my ears.
I HAVE TO work out with music!!! It makes the work out go so much quicker and keeps your mind busy while working out.
