Hola!  Como esta?
Annnd…that’s all I remember of high school and college Spanish.  Today is “Martes”, right?  I don’t know.  I DO think it’s amazing how much I remember about U.S. History and Chemistry, yet can’t for the life of me, remember how to conjugate verbs in Spanish – something I spent like 4 years learning!?!?
Oh..and does anyone else’s father INSIST on ordering IN SPANISH when you go out to a Mexican Restaurant?!!?  Just my dad?  I just know I’m not the only blushing daughter, ducking under the booth!!  Raise your hand.
(..where did those last two paragraphs even COME FROM?!?!   Talking about Spanish.  Not even remotely CLOSE to Tuesday Trainer!  And how many times am I going to do the “?!?!??”?  I’m sorry, guys.)

Tuesday Trainer.
Tank Top Ready.
Let’s do this!

lindsayslist.co-tuesday_trainer

As ALWAYS, I loved this weeks’ submissions! Very creative, no repeats…all targeting upper body and core in unique ways! I think you’ll really like this workout! Combine it with about 20 minutes of interval work (before or after – I prefer AFTER!) and you’ll be well on your way to tank-top ready arms for Spring! Remember to allow your body to rest and repair afterwards – do not perform on consecutive days!
*I forgot to include this in the jpeg.  Complete each superset 3 times, resting for 60-90 seconds before moving to the next superset.*

**Disclaimer: Always check with your physician before starting any new diet or exercise plan!! Pay special attention to the technique and instructions given with every move.**

If you want in on the Tuesday Trainer action (and you DO!), read every Thursday!  That’s when I announce the next theme and ramble on about everything from kids, to olives (bleck!), to my inability to paint my fingernails, to….ordering meals in Spanish.

I know.  I know.  I know.

But hey, you come back everyday. Must be doing something right.

QUESTION:  Did you take a foreign language in high school/college?  Do you remember anything?

splendid…lindsay

  1. I took Spanish for all four years of high school and two in college and can’t remember anything. It is Martes though. I think.

  2. Looks like a great workout ladies – thanks for hosting Linds!! I took Spanish in high school and remember very little, but was a German minor in college (even studied in Germany for a summer) and remember more. We have rosetta stone for German now, which I keep meaning to make time for, but never have enough. :)

  3. Fun fact: I love speaking spanish. I took seven years. Whenever I get a drink (or two) in me, that verb conjugating gets better and I get more fluent. Or so I think.

Also, I see someone up there needs a pull-up bar…go to the playground! That’s what we did before we had one. Just use the monkey bars. :-)

  4. Great TT moves! Pinning it as we speak!

I live in Canada, so don’t need to know Spanish (yet; I read something somewhere about how 80% of the planet with be Spanish speaking in 20 years). The little bit I do know comes from years of watching Dora the Explorer!

(Did I notice that you have a daughter named Clara? That’s my daughter’s name too!)

  5. This looks like a killer workout! I am in need of some tank top worthy arms being summer is just around the corner! Love TT!!! :)
And don’t worry you are not alone, my dad does the same thing! And he doesn’t really know spanish very well…haha Oh parents!

  6. No repeats – right on! :D Thanks for including my last-minute submission! Bummed I didn’t make it in the workout but I suppose submitting a move at 9 pm my time the night before will get me that. ;) Really excited to click and watch later – the breakdown looks great. Let’s tighten and tone, friends! Thanks once again, Lindsay. :D

    1. PS – French for me (even though I lived in California! Everyone took Spanish; I wanted to be different). ;) I took French for a year in university too – never would have thought I’d move to Canada where it’d be useful, although more so as you go east to Quebec…would love to live in a place where I’m FORCED to speak it!
