Happy Thursday!!
Based on yesterday’s comments, it seems as though we all have a little fat kid living inside of us, raring to get out and eat sugary, sugary cereal. Instead of letting her come out to play, we try to spank that child into submission and make her eat cardboard Shredded Wheat.
Bad fat kid, bad.
I think it’s time we all ate a big bowl of Lucky Charms.
Fat kid is smiling.
Annnnd….let’s talk about Tuesday Trainer.

Believe me – It’s really fun!
Tuesday Trainer went on a little holiday over the holidays (get it?), but now she’s ready to come back full force!
I’m not really sure why a) Tuesday Trainer is a girl or b) I’m typing this post in a British accent.
->side note: I often type in a British accent. You just can’t hear it because you aren’t in my head. But if you were (and could get past the maze of cobwebs and sex jokes), you’d hear me. I’m really quite good. I’ll do it in person if we ever meet.
I swear I was talking about something relevant.
Ah yes, TT.
The theme for this week’s Tuesday Trainer is LEGS!! I realize that we’ve already done this theme but get over it. The selection of leg moves is vast and this area tends to be a trouble spot for most women. So LEGS it is!
Here’s my move:
A few guidelines:
- ANYONE can participate – blogger or not.
- If you do blog, be sure to introduce yourself AND your blog.
- Feel free to give tips on proper execution and technique.
- DON’T include a number of reps. I’ll do that part.
- If your move isn’t correct, meaning improper form or instruction, I will not be able to feature it. Do your homework and get it right!!
- On Tuesday, grab the Tuesday Trainer button, to provide your readers with an easy link to the workout! Simply copy the text in my side bar and paste it into your HTML code.
- If you participated in the last “LEGS” theme, please film a new move!
I fink that’s about it. Cheerio.
**DEADLINE for submitting moves is Monday night, the 9th, at 8pm EST. Again, go here to learn how to upload your video!***
QUESTIONS: If you could name your inner fat kid, what would her name be? What about the inner British lady? What’s her name? ME – Fat kid = Susie. British Lady = Victoria.
splendid…lindsay <-splendid is ALWAYS said in a British accent btw!
Can you believe I’ve never had Lucky Charms?? :)
Ameena! Get yourself to the store and start LIVING! ;)
fairly new reader here and this is awesome! can’t wait to participate, just have to figure out a way to tape something…with an british accent mind you.
YES! PLEASE participate!! Would love to have you!
Omg I LOVE lucky charms! I’m dying for a gluten free version!
Katie – I saw that they have a GF Rice Krispies and Honey Nut Rice Chex now! Not exactly lucky charms, but still kid cereal.
Bahahahhaha, love this. I think my inner British lady would have to be named Thelma, after my boyfriend’s British mom. And for my inner fat kid – Violet… definitely! ;)
Is she named Violet because of Willy Wonka?
Haha, I’m laughing as I read this because I often talk (and write, in my mind of course) in an Austrailian accent.
Ok, I really want to do a video this time! I’m gonna try to get one done :)
Bad Skinny Girl for making your body eat non-tasty cardboard!
I know, right! blech.
You have a southern accent! (I just realized that.) Although I grew up in NC, I never picked up that charming trait. Also–I do the British accent thing all. the time. Just a few weeks ago I was giving a mini tour of my town to some people, and randomly started using “the accent.” Then quoting Monti Python. I think I made an all around stellar impression.
LOVE monty python!!
BOOTY!!! I am diggin the legs. and i am diggin the return of my lindsay TT videos. You are lovely to watch. and when i say lovely i mean HAWT!
Thank you. And when I say thank you, I mean you’re hot.
Of course! My legs are SO sore right now from my last 2 workouts that I’m having trouble walking. It’s a good think I have until Monday to film this. :-)
haha, mine too. Weekend to recover. phew!
What workout did you do??
Ha! I’m so nervous. I can’t spell nervous!
Haha – my inner fat kid would be named Bessie. (I used to have a stuffed animal named Bessie… she was a cow.)
Ha! I’m so nervous, I can’t spell nervous!
can i just send you a picture of my legs as a part of tuesday trainer…
I already have that picture that you sent me in the mail. Kinda stalkerish, Julie.
I had to go back and re-read this in a british accent. Love it.
I expect you to have a full-on British accent at the GA half marathon!
oh you know it!!
i’m stoked for TT to start up again! and i love your british accent writing… from here on out i’ll make sure to imagine you speaking in a british accent while reading your posts. ;)
Yay – I’m so excited that TT is back!!
I have a terrible British accent, but I do love to try! I think my name would be Harriet (I hear that one in the accent from “So I Married An Axe Murderer”.. which I guess is actually Scottish. =)
LOL – I’m already over because I LOVE LEGS! I actually just filmed a new video this week…posting it now:)
I was trying to read this in a British accent, but I juts can’t get it right. :) My inner fat kid- Kit. Not sure about my inner British lady (since I can’t even read with a good accent). :) Yay for the return of TT!! :)
I love Kit. She’s a cutie.
Oh we did squat kicks in the interval class I took yesterday! #win
I’m on this! How fun! Kinda nervious I’ve never done a video before. I think I can! I think I can. I’ll do a grapevine. That’s a great one for runners. That counts right? Or should I choose something else?
Choose whatever you want!! As long as it’s legs!
