Hello!

And happy Monday!!

Are you READY for this week??  I know that for my sister and a lot of my other friends who are teachers, this is the LAST week of school and she’s so excited!!  There’s nothing quite like a summer break, is there.  Speaking of breaks -> A few people have asked so I’ll answer – we don’t take a traditional summer break from homeschooling.  I just lighten the load and am more flexible during June, July and August with our curriculum and time.  I’ve found that my kids crave structure and a schedule so I just maintain that school schedule throughout the entire year.  If we want to take the day (or week) off, we do.  Annnnnd now you know. Winking smile

Here’s everything I captured on my iPhone throughout the weekend.  We had a great one – a good mix of play and rest (and GOOOOD food).  I even managed to get a hike in – something I want to do more of this Summer.  I live in a truly beautiful place and want to explore it more often!  (If you’re local, what are your favorite hikes (3-5 mile range since I’d probably have a kid on my back)?  Comment below.)

  3. hmmm that car wash thing … I made a run through the same one on Saturday morning. It was so nice to have my cute, little, white car all cleaned up again … then two of my three little boys decided, later that afternoon that my cute, little, white, clean car needed some “decorations” on the outside and proceeded to squirt RED juice all over the side!!! Such is life with three little boys!!

  4. Okay – there are MANY things I like about this post: the hiking pics, your quads, that baby of yours :D that pool (summer!), your family, your beautiful face (and you look so extra lean!) but those pancakes. They look so perfect and steal the show! ;) Love you guys!
