Hey-o!!
How’s the day treating you so far? We’ve got a pretty busy one ahead – corporate bootcamp, errands, grocery store, lunch with Travis, afternoon MoveMore groups and then Aristocats rehearsal. I gotta fit homeschooling, FOOD and chores in there somewhere but I’ll get it done.
Let me tell you what’s going on currently in my life.
CURRENTLY: MARCH
Current Book:
I’m not currently reading anything (other than The Best Yes that’s on the back of my toilet) but I want to start As You Wish
by Carey Elwes. It’s just sitting on our bookshelf begging to be opened one afternoon….when I have nothing to do…which is never…. I digress. I’ve always had the biggest crush on Cary and can quote Princess Bride nearly word for word so I need to make the time for this book.
Current TV Show:
We’re on a House of Cards kick now that the new season is out on Netflix. We usually watch one episode of HOC and then follow it up with a “dessert” episode of Friends (while we eat ice cream…irony). It’s the best – I look forward to our nightly TV/couch time SO much. Some may think that’s a waste of time but honestly there’s nothing that makes Travis and I happier than sitting down together and not talking for a hour. ;)
Current Excitement:

Current Exercise:
My current exercise routine looks something like this:
- Monday: Trackstars
- Tuesday: Long walk
- Wednesday: Trackstars
- Thursday: OFF
- Friday: Trackstars
- Saturday: Trackstars
- Sunday: OFF or long walk
So yeah…I do a lot of my own programming. I’ve got a vlog that I’ll be posting later this week that talks a little bit more about WHAT Trackstars is. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I’ll also be adding a couple of walking miles to most days (walking will always be my favorite).
Current Nail Color:
Nothing. I’m a boring nail person.
Current Song:
I LOVE this new core workout that Michelle Myers just sent out (I’m on her mail list for her Cross Training Couture tanks!). The song is “I’m Turnt” by Lecrae, basically Christian rap (which sounds lame even to me but I know it’s anointed!) I’m going to do this core routine with my groups!
Current Bane of My Existence:
Hmmm…I’ll have to think on this one. Pretty happy.
Current Outfit:
Gym clothes. Everyday. All day.
Current Drink:
All the water. And this new-to-me flavor of kombucha! <-Locals: found it at Roomful of Nuts on the Georgia Rd.
Current Indulgence:
My recurring afternoon cup of coffee. I’m on a two-a-day kick right now.

I should probably go all mom mode and post a cute one of my kids or something but I got the BIGGEST chocolate chunk in my last Quest bar and have to share that instead.

Current excitement: I just planned an “adult spring break” trip with one of my best friends to visit my other best friend (and former boss, which was a wonderful coincidence) in Florida
Current exercise: walking! Now that it’s warm I find myself wanted to walk so much more. It really is the best.
Current bane of my existence: gross beach tap water and being way too lazy to go out and buy bottled water
Current nail color: same as you, because painting my nails means I eventually have to take the polish off.
Also, I’m with you on TV time. Sometimes it’s really nice to just spend time next to your significant other. There’s plenty of time for talking later. Haha

That book looks/sounds amazing! Princess Bride is a favorite of my family’s too :)
And Current Nail Color (because I finally painted them last night after letting them chip away for 2+ weeks): Mint green!
Current Drink: Quad espresso over ice in a venti cup, with chocolate pea protein and almond milk mixed in at home. Post-hot-yoga perfection.
Current exercise!! I started teaching Insanity at a local gym – I AM IN LOVE WITH TEACHING!!! and I’m training to teach pump, I’d never taken pump but have fallen in love with weights!
