Thank God it’s Thursday!!  That means it’s almost Friday, which means it’s almost the weekend!  This week has been a doozy for us!  Anyone else?

Before I get into the Tuesday Trainer theme, I have to ask for your help (don’t worry, it’s a fun kind of favor!).

Nuts About Granola is this awesome company (run by healthy living bloggers), that sells all sorts of granola flavors (they have one called CARROT CAKE!!!) and focuses on all-natural, organic products!  They also happen to be BLEND sponsors!

That just makes them cool to begin with!  What’s even cooler is that they are creating a custom blend of granola for the BLEND swag bags!!!  (are you dying at the word play there?!?! A custom blend for BLEND?!!?  I die!)

This is where I need your help!!  YOU get to pick the ingredients!!

Just go here to take the survey!

The Fine Print – Votes will be collected between March, 15 2012 beginning at 12:00am and April 15, 2012 ending at 12:00pm. The winner of each category will be used to create the custom blend.
The new flavor will debut at the 2012 BLEND Retreat.  All retreat attendees will receive a free sample of the flavor as well as a discount code they can use themselves and/or pass along to their readers to purchase the flavor online at  The new flavor will be available for sale to the general public beginning Monday, May 7, 2012.

I just love this idea!!  Thanks, Lauren and Sarah for thinking it up!  And remember, even if you can’t make it to the retreat, you can still vote and buy this granola when it goes on sale to the general public!!

Moving on…

As I told you on Tuesday, we’re resting this week!  Which means that the theme is “Meet Your Trainers”.
We “rest” every 4 weeks or so and answering these questions gives us a chance to vlog about our likes/dislikes and experiences.  I happen to love these weeks!  The questions that you’ll need to answer were submitted by fellow bloggers.

Jess, at Blonde Ponytail, wants to know:

**Do trainers prefer personal training or group instruction and why?

Heather, at Better with Veggies, asks:

**What inspired you to start working out?
**What would you tell a friend who says they don’t have time to be active?

Mrs. Cotter Crunch wants you to tell us:

**What is your most embarrassing workout story?

And I want to know:

**What team do you pick to win the NCAA Championship?

Fun, fun, fun!  Here’s my “Meet Your Trainer”:

Some helpful guidelines:

  • If you’ve never participated in Tuesday Trainer, you can still submit a “Meet Your Trainer”!! Anyone can participate – blogger or not!
  • Don’t afraid to be yourself!
  • Wear comfy clothes.
  • Try not to ramble on – submissions should be no more than 4-5 minutes long.
  • If you do blog, remember to introduce yourself and your blog.

***DEADLINE for submitting moves is Monday night, the 19th, at 8pm EST. Again, go here to learn how to upload your video!***

QUESTION:  If you were creating a custom “blend” of your three favorite foods, what would it look like?  ME –> Brownies, chicken pot pie, and sunflower butter soufflé.  Annnnnd that sounds disgusting.

**Don’t forget – go take the Nuts About Granola survey!**

  1. Thanks for answering!! I agree that I love the energy from a group class especially once your established! I so wish I could be a Blend. Would love to meet you lovely ladies!

Ha! 3 foods to blend well peanut butter goes with everything right?! Peanut butter pizza???

  2. Do you have to have a trainers cert to participate? I don’t (yet) but would like to eventually participate. But I don’t want to send the wrong message that I’m a trainer when I’m not yet.. I’m hoping that will change this yr!!

    1. I guess I should have watched the video before asking b/c you answered my question! Hopefully I can get someone to video me and I will start participating.. I LOVE your blog and Tuesday Trainer.. it’s one of the first things I check on Tuesday am! :)

  3. That’s my kind of granola! Survey done!

  4. ohhh i am checking out the granola ASAP! So exciting!! and m 3 favorite foods to combine. um, sushi, goat cheese, and salt and vinegar chips. Can you tell i like salt?

I would have paid good money to see that treadmill preggo fall!

  5. If I had to BLEND my three favorite foods I’d end up with an almond, vegan pizza, enchilada combo – not sure how that would taste, but I feel like there’s room for experimenting somewhere in there :)

Can’t wait to film my ‘Meet the Trainers’ video!

  6. ahhht that’s the coolest thing ever! :) I’m hitting this survey now. I’m hoping that we get some gluten-free swag somewhere along the line. On the plus side, my BF will be ultra happy if I bring him home a bunch of goodies that I can’t eat. :)
