**If you haven’t already voted, I’m vying for a spot as the next Love Grown Foods Blogger. Please “like” my picture and help me win!! I eat their granola nearly everyday (Sweet Cranberry Pecan beckons me!), so this would be a great fit!! Thank you!**
I taught 2 hours of back to back Aqua Power yesterday. I’m not telling you because it’s all that impressive. I tell you because I want to educate you. I think a lot of people judge water aerobics as being “not enough of a workout”. I know I used to!
Let me tell you – my entire body is SORE today. From head to toe, I got a wonderful workout! If your gym offers Aquatics classes, TRY ONE! They’re a wonderful cross-training tool and a great way to break up a monotonous fitness schedule. Plus, they’re typically chockfull of feisty older ladies, who love to laugh.
That all has nothing to do with Tuesday Trainer.
Welcome to the 13th edition of Tuesday Trainer. The theme for this week is Trainer’s Choice – Equipment!
A great week, because everyone submitted something a little different and there was such a DYNAMIC use of equipment!! A weird week, as you’ll see down below.
- Body Bar
- Jump Rope
- Tennis Balls
- Medicine Ball (homemade, real and the new soccer ball kind, courtesy of Kirsten)
- Pull-up Bar
- and, Stability Ball
SEE!! That’s A LOT of equipment…..
…That most of you don’t have. So that’s why were just doing more of a “Move Showcase” this week. Rather than me come up with something that will have you racing around your gym in search of equipment, or that features equipment that most of you don’t have AT HOME, I’m just going to give the moves more of a spotlight. So that’s why it’s a weird week.
To start us off, tiny trainer, Joaquin, is going to demonstrate a great warm-up, making his STUFT Mama proud!
And actually, Paige’s submission could be considered our workout for this week. Check out this unique training tool!
So after you’ve run around a tennis court, jump onto your bike and go for a ride with James.
Weird week, right?

QUESTION: Did you workout today? What’d you do?
